We MOVED!

Heyyy there! Sorry I have been M.I.A. but all last week I was studied for my Teaching Certification exam. Unfortunately I did not pass. :( I made a 71 and you have to make an 80 to pass which totally sucks because now that means I have to study all over again!!! BOOOO! But oh well everything happens for a reason and I will pass next time!

Onto the good news! We finally were able to move to Midland this weekend! With a HUGE thanks to help of Mary and Alan we were able to get everything in the new apartment and all put away (well mostly all put away)! I think after this weekend we should all have amazing legs! Especially Alan and Patrick for having to carry all of the big heavy stuff up THREE flights of stairs! I run out of breath just walking up carrying nothing, so I can't even imagine what it was like carrying couches and all the other heavy stuff that we have! I would say everything went really well though! Except for the fact that we have a not so pleasant neighbor on the first floor. We had rented a very very large U-haul and being in an apartment there isn't many places to park that dang thing, so we had to park it at an angle. Well the U-haul just happened to be blocking a couple of garages, and while we were moving I heard someone lay down on the horn! Well Ms. Bitchy Bitch wasn't very happy that we were blocking her garage, so of course we had to move the truck. The funny part is that when Alan got in to move it the truck wouldn't start for a couple minutes adding fuel to the fire. :) I found it pretty humorous but I am sure that the biatch didn't. Then when we finally got it to move she didn't pull of the way in to her garage so that we couldn't put the truck back where it was. Alan and Patrick asked her if she wouldn't mind parking in a different spot for 30 minutes and she said NO! How freaking rude is that! All I have to say is she is really damn lucky that we are 2 flights up, because if she was directly under us I would be jumping up and down all of the time making as much noise as possible! :)

I am so glad that we finally moved because not only is it in a really good location, but it is a big step up from what we were living in and I love it! I am so happy to not be living in Patrick's "bachelor pad" anymore, and I am sure that Patrick is happy to be out of the old apartment as well due to the fact that he only had a hallway closet where his stuff could barely fit while I had the big closet to myself. In this apartment both of our stuff fits in the SAME closet perfectly! Andddd there is even room for me to buy new clothes! YAY!

We have a longggg ways to go on decorating the place. I didn't know that we were going to have so much wall space, but I know I sure will enjoy decorating the place and buying new things! Here are some pictures of our apartment so far. Please excuse any boxes or random things you may see.

Here is Patrick wiped out!

My kids...

So I haven't shared anything with you guys about my kids lately, and today many things happened during my day that I thought I should share.

On to my first kid that I LOVE so much BUT NOT today! One of my little girls who loves to give me hugs came up to me today and was hugging me with her head against my stomach...well all of a sudden she lifted her head up and I noticed she was rubbing my stomach. She looked up at me with this adorable little face and said "there is a baby in your tummy". Ughhhh is she saying I'm FAT!!!!! I quickly pulled her hand away and reassured her that I am definitely NOT preggers! lol And now she thinks it is funny to tell me I am pregnant! SOOO what does she do? Tell the whole class AS WELL as teachers in the hallway! awesome.

On to the next! Today I was calling the children to go to their centers and I called on Adrian and he was the first one to go to the dramatic play center. So I sent him on and I was waiting to call on another student when I heard SCREAMING and CRYINGGGG!!! He immediately ran over to me freaking out telling me there was a spider in the picnic basket and that it bit him! Well I being the mean person I am started laughing. :) I went over to the picnic basket and was looking through it and telling him there was nothing in there as I scanned through it. Well as I was looking I kept trying to get closer to him to show him there was nothing in there, and the closer I got the more he screamed and the more I laughed! :) I eventually DID find the spider on the floor and killed it. Then later on while he was playing I came up to him and said "Adrian the spider is on your shirt!" Lets just say I have never seen a kid jump up so damn and tears come streaming down so fast! And what did I do? LAUGH! DUH!

Today during nap I was talking to Mrs. Huitron and I noticed Aiden sat up and started scooting towards Ajanyah. Then he started scratching the ground really hard like he was trying to dig it up with his fingers! Then he went over to Ajanyah and started to pull her mat up from under her. We kept calling his name and he wouldn't listen and of course I didn't really want to wake him up because I wanted to see what else he was going to to in his sleep, but we didn't want Ajanyah to wake up! :( But it was really funny! I love when the kids do stuff in their sleep!

Today after school I was waiting for the daycare bus with some of my kids, and I yelled out "Peppermint!" (which is a daycare) Two of my girls got up from the table really quickly ready to go to their bus when I said "JUST KIDDING!" One thought it was a funny joke which I appreciated while the other got really mad and shed a few tears. The sensitive ones need to learn to laugh a little! lol

So on to my kid who got in trouble today! We were in the cafeteria after snack and I gave my kids some toys to play with except one who was supposed to have his head because he wouldn't stop talking. Well I was sitting by one of my kids playing with them when I had 2 kids come up to me saying Joe said a bad word. I asked them what he said and of course they were scared to tell me! They didn't want to say the bad word thinking that I would yell at them! Well come to find out my 4 year old had said B*tch and F*ck! I told him to come over to me and I asked him over and over did you say those words? He kept telling me no he didn't say it. I told him if he told me the truth I wouldn't tell mom, so what does he do? Tells me he said it and what do I do? Immediately take him to the office! HA tricked that one!

I love when my kids do things to entertain me, so hopefully tomorrow brings me more laughter!

Happy Easter!

HaPpY EaStEr!

This was our first year to celebrate Easter without our families! :( But I will say we did a damn good job of doing it on our own! We got up and went to the 9 a.m. church service, and then went over to Kirsten's to make Easter lunch! We had a honey baked ham and Kirsten and I each made 2 casseroles! She made hashbrown casserole that was delish! And a broccoli and cheese casserole that Patrick loved! I made a green bean casserole and a squash casserole! Yummo! I also made Easter cupcakes that were to die for! I only had one but I could have for sure eaten about 5 of them! I also made a really cute centerpiece for the table!

Here are our pictures from today...

Our feast! I feel like such a grown-up now!

Hunny Bunnies!

always posing for the camera!

Oh the things I do in my sleep!

I hope this doesn't rub anyone the wrong way about us, but most of you may know that Patrick and I do not sleep in twin beds and we do in fact sleep in the same bed. Say or think what you want. :)
So now onto my story...

Last night was around 4 in the morning I woke up because I realized that I didn't have any sheets. All I had was the comforter and I hate when my feet touch the comforter! I know I am weird! Anyways so I could feel a ball of sheets on my feet, and I knew like always that Patrick had hogged the sheets. So instead of reaching down to grab the sheets I flew my hand behind me and YANKED (and I mean aggressively) what I thought was a ball of sheets. Well when I did that I hear a scream and Patrick say "what the hell are you doing!" I soon realized that what I had grabbed was definitely not the sheets... it was Patrick's crotch! hahahah I could not stop laughing. And even though I thought Pat would be mad he started hysterically laughing as well! It took me forever to go back to sleep because I kept randomly laughing out loud at what I had done. Even today at school I was thinking about it and busted out in a laugh in the middle of me teaching my kids!

Any who I hope you got a good laugh out of this because I know I sure as hell did!

Crawfish Boil

Happy Sunday everyone!

What a great weekend we had! Sara and Ryan came in from Houston to look at a house and BOUGHT one!! Yay! We are so excited for them and can't wait to hangout with them in their beautiful new home! Friday night I went to dinner with Sara, Ryan, Andrew and Kirsten to have hibachi!! It was sooo good! But I didn't like the fact that when I weighed myself the next morning that dinner had made me gain 4 pounds!!! Yikes!

Saturday we had a crawfish boil here! No one had ever made it before and I must say it turned out pretty damn good! It was really fun to hangout with our friends and meet new ones. We started the boil at 3 and of course you CAN'T have crawfish without beer, and so lets just say by the end of the night I was one HOT mess (as you can see below in the pictures)! All day/night drinking was of course fun, but I was wild.

We found a surprise hanging out with our crawfish...I felt so bad. I guess I can now say I have had Turtle Soup!

Sad to say that Patrick's attempt to break dance at the bar failed miserably. I can say it was not his best and he even lost a shoe!

me=hot mess.

We went to a bar after the crawfish boil to watch one of our friends play in the band and I was a freaking dancing machine! I never left that dance floor. I am sure I looked like a complete fool, but I sure did have a blast.

For drinking as much as I did last night I actually felt pretty damn good today. The only thing that really came about today for Patrick and I was NONSTOP hunger. We met Ryan and Sara for lunch at Genghis Grill and then after looking at their new house on the way home we stopped to get a blizzard from Dairy Queen. That I must say was a very good decision. My mint oreo blizzard was AMAZEBALLS! Worth every single calorie. Then for dinner we had Buffalo Wild Wings. Go ahead say it...we are lard asses. I will agree with you on that.

So overall we had an awesome weekend, and we hope all of you did too!
