Happy St. Patty's DaY!

HaPpY St. PaTriCk'S DaY!

Today may be the day of luck but yesterday was our lucky day! We got pre approved for a house!!! How exciting is that! Plus on top of that Patrick and I went to Abuelo's Mexican for dinner last night and we got fajitas. Since our tortillas took a long time to come out and we weren't complaining or anything, but the manager came up to us and told us we were getting our fajitas for FREE! Hollaaaa! Trying to see if our luck could go further last night I decided to buy a Mega Millions because the pot was 200 million! And if you may know we are

*WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNERS!!!*

No not really. Unfortunately our luck ended there. Wah.

Last night we had the chance to go to a drive-in movie! Freaking awesome!!! You pay $7 a person and you get to see TWO movies! What a freakin deal! We saw 21 Jumpstreet which was stupidly hilarious! And we saw Act of Valor which was badass! I give props to those guys! What they do for our country is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! No joke everyone should go see it!

Please excuse this beautiful picture of myself. Looking a little rough.

Since this was Patrick's three day weekend we decided to make pancakes for breakfast. Although the pictures I am about to show you may not look that appetizing it was! Thanks to my best friend Pinterest I got a recipe to make cinnamon roll pancakes. If the sound of that doesn't just make your mouth water I don't know what will. We may have had a few loud arguments between the two of us (because of me mostly :) ) but in the end our breakfast turned out to be delicious! I am usually the ONLY one that cooks in the kitchen, and I typically don't like when someone comes in and tries to take over. I really wanted to try and make breakfast WITH Patrick but I had a really hard time letting him do the work. But in the end it was all worth it! If I could have him cook with me all the time I would! :)

There is supposed to be cream cheese icing on it, but I didn't like the taste of it. To cream cheesy for me!

Although he is as cute as a button in these two photos it took us multiple shots trying to get one with his eyes open. As you can see we never reallyyyy got that. :)

Now that you have seen what our pancakes looked like... here is what they should actually look like.

So on to today...

It was such a beautiful day here today. It was a good dry 90 degrees! Perfect laying out weather, so that is exactly what we did. We went and hung out with our friend Kelsy at her apartment pool for a couple hours. Being as ghostly as I am right now I shouldn't have stayed out that long because I know look like Larry the Lobster. Not cool. And hurts. After a relaxing day at the pool we got ready and went to an extremely good dinner at The Garlic Press. YUMMO!

When we got home I prepared a few different things for our cook out that we are having with all of our friends tomorrow. I made Chuy's copy cat creamy jalapeno ranch dip and it actually does taste very similar to theirs! I also in spirit of St. Patty's day made rice krispie treats with lucky charms in it!

Well we hope everyone had a great St. Patrick's day and got to drink lots of green beer! And if you did get to drink green beer I hope you drank enough for me since I didn't get to! :(
