ANOTHER Roadblock!

Things sure are not going my way when it comes to trying to get a job. Today I had substitute orientation and then after I was supposed to go to the elementary school to observe their classroom today and tomorrow. WELL I go to the school only to find out when I get there and ask for the teacher that she has taken the day off. Well isn't that lovely. Dontchaaa think that would have been nice of her to tell me this news on Friday when we met and planned these arrangements? I sure do think it would have been! Soooo here we go another day wasted! 

 

 On a brighter note I went to get my nails done today! And now I am off to go buy new work pants! Wahoo! 

 

And I must say that if I did not care about my hair so much this would be me....

The SURPRISE has ARRIVED!!

I don't know if you guys remember but a while back I had told you that Patrick had gotten good news and that we would share the surprise with you soon. WELL leaving you hanging we were hoping we would have you guys in suspense, but I am sure the suspense is long gone do to the fact that the surprise took so long to arrive. Now for the big reveal!

I know if may not sound like that great of a surprise to you, but to Patrick it is because he now doesn't have to sleep in a small back seat. He now has lots of room in the FOUR door! :)

273 Days to go!!

Sooo we all know that I do nothing all day everyday right? RIGHT! I am pretty sure that I spend 90% of my day on Pinterest, and today it was all about WEDDING, WEDDING and more WEDDING! I found so many great things today that I would LOVE to have! And here are a few...

I LOVE these monogrammed pillows that can be found here. Now all I need to do is figure out what colors I am going to have in our house so I know which colors to get!

I am pretty sure I can make this, but all I know is that I NEED it!

On my way to getting a J.O.B!

Yesterday I went in to have an interview with the Director of Personnel for a substitute position. So I thought. Right when I sat down she started telling me about all of these jobs that were available, and since I have a degree I could apply for them. So I did just that. I went home and applied for multiple teaching assistant positions

. Now I know that sounds exciting and all BUT the positions available are for the more challenging classes. For example ISS which is D.M.C. (where you go when you get into trouble), BAC which is a class full of kids that have behavioral issues, a life skills class and the one I am hoping for is a Pre-k class! On my way out the door this morning to go observe one of the classes I got a call to come in and interview. I soon found out that I was interviewing for the Junior High ISS class. The interview went quite well and then they had me go observe the class. I walked into the room and saw all of the kids each have their own desk with a cubbie. These kids are put into this class for bringing a weapon to school, having drugs on them, violence or sexual harassment. They pretty much have to do worksheet after worksheet all day long and cannot talk. It was very interesting being in the class. I had one girl tell me "miss that boy keep talking about your butt" well....that's lovely. Gross. I definitely think I could handle the class even though I think the day will go by very slow. But the day didn't end there...once I left the Junior High school I had a message from the director at the early childhood center. I called her back and she asked if I could come in this afternoon to have an interview for the Pre-k position. Let's just say I think I NAILED the interview! I am most certainly keeping my fingers crossed! And tomorrow I am meeting with the Pre-k teacher that I would potentially be working with! So lets all hope and pray that I get this job because that would mean it would be full-time with benefits and I would get paid throughout the summer! YAY!

Oh yea that is going to me! :)

Our Weekend in Pictures!

It's a THREE day weekend!!!

Nothing to say today except that we are off to bed because we have to leave at 4 in the morning to hit the slopes!

TWO-A-DAYS

Oh yea thats right...I am doing a TWO-A-DAYS (working out TWICE in ONE day). Determination. I WILL be ready for that bikini(s) I just bought today!

 Now lets be for real my two-a-days aren't like a football players two-a-days. Mine consist of running on the treadmill today by myself and then again tonight with Patrick! I have to thank Lauren Conrad for putting up some workout/meal plans on her website. I have taken a liking to her intervals workout that she suggested which is running for 1 minute and walking for one minute and 30 seconds, and I do this for 30 minutes (Doesn't sound like much but it kills me and you've gotta start somewhere). And today I flipped it around to get a better workout. I walked for 1 minute and ran for a minute and 30. I did this for 45 minutes today, and I am going to do that again tonight! It is actually really easy and the time flies by! Katy and Jordan you guys should be soooo proud of me! Who would have thought I would have enjoyed working out! I have to share this picture with you guys... I think it is hilarious and yet so true. 

It's a sad day for Texans fans...

Looking forward to watching the Texans vs. Ravens playoff game sure did turn into to be a letdown. Texans lost. Here are a few of the emotions that Patrick went through while watching the game. Mind you he was already not happy about the Texans losing, but he was even more unhappy about the fact that I kept taking shots of him! :) 

On a brighter note my Birchbox came in over the weekend!! I love the Origins face wash that came in the box this time! For those of you who do not know what a Birchbox is it is a box that has 4-5 samples that comes to you in the mail each month for $10 a month. It is actually really cool! Sometimes they are just samples, but this time I got a regular sized Stila eyeliner that is worth $20! The box also comes with a card that gives you a description of everything in the box and the cost of the full sized product.

I decided to make Patrick, Sara, and I mini cakes for Pat's birthday. They turned out pretty good, BUT they were not moist they were hard! I think I will stick to cooking instead of baking! :) 

For his birthday dinner we all went to the barn door and had yummyyyyy steak!! Delish! Also this year I did VERY well and got Patrick badass gifts! A Northface jacket and the best of all....a Broncos Von Miller jersey!

Sara leaves tomorrow! Wahhhhh

So onto the bad news for today...so we all know that the shopping sucks here so I resorted to online shopping. WELL I've decided I can't even do that! Today I got my shipment in from Forever 21 only to find the necklace I bought looking like this...

It was broken in TWO places! I thought I would just be able to fix it myself BUT it didn't even come with the links that it was missing! UGHH!! Annoying.
