I've still got it!

Today I went to go get the Tahoe inspected and of course it was busy so I had to sit and wait. Well there was only one bench for people to sit at and there was a Hispanic boy sitting there and I took a seat next to him. I knew right away he would probably start to make conversation with me and I was right. He asked out of the blue if I have any summer 2012 plans, so I told him I was going to Mexico next week and then I asked if was doing anything exciting just to be nice. He proceeded to tell me that he was taking summer school because he got into trouble over the course of the year that resulted in holding him back. That is when I found out that he was 18...19 in a month! Wahoo. Then he asked how old I was thinking I was in school and I told him my age and he acted shocked and then played the you look so much younger card. Anyways then I played on my cell phone trying to give the impression that I don't really care for this small talk anymore. :) Then finally his car was ready so he got up and at the time said it was nice meeting me shaking my hand and tell me his name was Cesar. THEN a couple minutes later he walks back up to me and asks for my number. I looked up at him and said "Why?" and he responded with "so we can keep in touch." Yummm I just met you do you think I care to "keep in touch." Umm no. Of course I said "no I don't want to give you my number" and so he smiled and walked away. Awkward. But oh yea I still have it...picking up the Midland riff raff!

TV Tuesday!

Finally my favorite shows are coming back on! 

My most favorite of all is Pretty Little Liars!! If you have never watched that show rent the seasons. It is awesome and so addicting! After that is one of my new obsessions Jane by Design. I don't know if any of you watch Glee but you SHOULD! And tonight is the premiere of The Glee Project 2 where they go through various weeks of competition testing new "possible" actors to the show and I love it! It is on Oxygen and it is a great reality show to watch. Now that I have all this time off I feel like I don't have enough shows to watch which is rather annoying. But hopefully more and more of my summer shows will be starting soon! 

It feels GOOD! && a spoiler alert! :)

Man-o-man what a longgg nice relaxing day I had today. 

How was work everyone? (suckas)

I am so glad that I finally decided that teaching was the right path for me. It sure will be soooo nice to be off for 2 1/2 months and do nothing but relax! 

This is how my first day off went. 

-Woke up at 8 a.m. ON MY OWN. blahhh what kind of sleeping in is that??

-Laid in bed and watched T.V. until 9

-Got a bowl of cereal and got back in bed and watched more T.V. until about 10:30

-Got ready for the day

-Went and did my honey-dos (took Pat's laundry to the dry cleaner)

-Went to a few boutiques...finding nothing. wahhh

-Returned something at Bed Bath & Beyond

-Went to go buy some stuff for Shannon's shower that I am throwing her...ended up finding nothing for her and something for ME! How exciting!

-Did some training's for my teachers certification. boring.

-Cooked shrimp tacos for dinner at 4. Then went to make the taco and realized that H.E.B. forgot to give me my tortillas! annoying. Probably for the better though! No carbs! And I will be on the beach in LESS than one week, so no carbs was a good thing today (besides my cereal). 

-Worked out

Doesn't that just sound like the perfect first day off? Well kinda...I wish I could have found some clothes then it would have been even better! 

And now all I have to do is think about relaxing on the couch while I watch my shows for the night. ahhhh How relaxing to think I can stay up as late as I want (which will most likely be til about 10) and then hopefully sleep in tomorrow and for 60 more days give or take. 

I am quite excited to watch The Bachelorette tonight! And what makes me really happy about watching it is that Patrick watches it with me! So here is my spoiler alert... I am going to tell you who wins the Bachelorette so if you don't want to know STOP reading right now and catch back up with my awesome life below the picture of Emily. 

Drum roll please... And the winner is Sean Lowe. How do I know this? Welllll Sean is from Dallas and my friend Clayton knows him and knows that he won! Which I am perfectly fine with because he is one of the guys I liked. Although I really liked Chris from Chicaaaago. So anywaysss we will see if Clayton is 100% correct when the show comes to an end!

So now onto what I bought for myself today! Now don't be all judgy but I bought a letter "M"! I know I know it is early considering we aren't even married yet, but who knows if I would have found it again. And I could have just put it away for the time being but that is obviously not gonna happen! I need stuff to decorate this dang place!  

Isn't it soooo cute! And I got it for a great price of $6.99! holla! Oh btw guess what is freaking coming to town?!? A Marshalls!!!!! WAHOO!! How exciting is that! Luckily it is going to be in Odessa instead of Midland, so it won't be that close for me to get to. But who am I kidding... being realistic I will drive 15 minutes to go there!
